Grill Your Ace Off 2010

Think you've got what it takes to win this year's annual "Grill Your Ace Off" competition? If so ... we need you! For the second year in a row Colorado backyard cooks will convene to show-off their grilling skills on what many call the worlds best smoker and grill, The Big Green Egg. This year's competition will be held June 12th at Ace Hardware in Highlands Ranch. It's an all day event with judging starting at 2:00. Prizes will be awarded. First place gets a medium Big Green Egg, with nest, valued at $700. Second place will receive a $250 Ace gift card, third gets a $150 Ace gift card and the peoples choice winner will get a $100 Ace gift card. Returning certified Kansas City Barbecue Society judge, Jon Rossi says, "Teams come from all different skill sets, from the every Sunday backyard griller to the once a summer bbq'er. The most important thing is that it's a friendly competition with bragging rights and this year it supports a great cause." Proceeds from the event and all of the entry fees ($50) will be donated to the Children's Miracle Network, benefiting Colorado's The Children's Hospital.
